My customary reaction to an inquiry on the max size of a somewhat
obscure bivalve species is to look at Huber (2010, 2015) since he
provided the greatest dimension of all species he illustrated, and often
his datum exceeds that in less authoritative works.

This time, however, I was shocked to find that it seems he did not treat
the species at all despite the fact that he edited the treatment on the
taxon in MollscaBase
<http://molluscabase.org/aphia.php?p=taxdetails&id=420729>. This may be
the first time he's disappointed me!
