No pigs or bugs this time.
I would like information on Epitonium frondicula S. Wood, 1848.
E. eximia Pecchioli 1854 is a synonym.
What I need to know is: who was "S. Wood"? Is there any data on his dates, where he lived, where his holotype is deposited? Did he publish anything else? The "frondicula" I am looking at appear to be fossils. Are they also among the living?
I don't have much information on Pecchioli either.
Thanks All,
Art
