I was wondering if there was such a thing as a checklist for marine shells.
I wish to check them off as I collect them, but can't find any sort
of list at all in my ref books or on the web. I'd be happy with a
list of common shells for the amateur sheller, or geographic list of
shells one may find in a certain area...any sort of list to help me
organize.
 
I realize there are thousands of gastropods out there, but any sort of
short list I could use as a beginning organization tool to get started would
be helpful.
