            From the most comprehensive eastern Pacific bivalve reference:

Coan, E.V., Valentich Scott, P. & Bernard, F.R. 2000. Bivalve seashells of western North America, the range of Acila (Truncacila) castrensis (Hinds, 1844) is (p. 78) "Northeasten Bering Sea, Alaska (60.4°N) [UAM], to Punta San Pablo (27.2°N) [LACM], Baja California Sur, in the Golfo de California at Las Cruces, Baja California Sur (24.2°N) [LACM], and off Kamchatka, in 5 - 400 m."  Note that they consider Nucula. divaricata Valenciennes, 1846, N. lyalli Baird, 1863, A. empirensis Howe, 1922, and A. (T.) beringiana Slodkevisch, 1967 synonyms. It is also found in numerous Miocene, Pliocene, and Pleistocene formations in California and Oregon.  Hope this information helps.
