D'oh!

Right after I hit the 'Send' tab, I realized "faired" should have been "fared."

Anyway, here is the link to DAR's list of regulations on aquatic life.

In Sec 5, near the bottom of this page, are rules about marine life forms. No
surprises there. Top shells have been a no-no for decades. Oysters, several
varieties, have also been "kapu" as they say, "Fo' days!"

Look around the DNLR site a bit and you will find maps of which areas are
protected. Fair warning: take nothing valuable to the beach/dive area that you
can't take with you into the water,... or have guarded by a KNOWN friend.
Sorry, that's just how it is.
