Dear Oliver,

Snyder create his Fusinus quandumpulchellum with the erroneous
opinion that Fusus pulchellus Philippi was in secondary homonymy
of Murex pulchellus Lamarck, 1822 when Monterosato 1872 transferred
Mediterranean Fusinus to genus Murex. This is not the case so
Fusinus quandumpulchellum is a nomen vanum
