Aporrhais pespelecani occurs in NW. Europa, south to Mediterranean.
Thin and gracile specimens may come from Mediterranean (Alboran,
Adriatic) while robust or rough shells come more from NE. Atlantic,
Nordzee etc. The Western part of GoM is slighly out of the natural
range, but humans beings can do may miracles. Could you send me a
picture of these Pelican Feet, in order to illustrate this artificial
range extension on my site, please ?
