How do you report an error on WoRMS? I’ve looked through the home screen to no avail. I’m trying to determine why Pecten circularis is a syn. of the Atlantic Bay Scallop.

The project team in Ostend goes all the way on a daily basis to provide mass import of data, yet all that data needs to be verified too. Some institutions provide photographs of their (type)material in mass - also subject to manual validation by specialists.

It is - and will be for a time to come - a continuous work in progress, duly reflecting the progress of our worldwide knowledge on marine biodiversity.

I have found that, if there are any omissions or any errors to be fixed, the editors will quickly make the corrections once any problem is brought to their attention. Keep up the good work WoRMS staff!

If WoRMS is not correct, bring it to their attention, but just because 2 percent may be incorrect is no reason to throw the entire endeavor into the trash can.
