Notably, St. Petersburg (Florida) is amongst the oldest.
At least back to 1936, and still going.

Alan,
...I take it Connecticut Shell Club was not the same as the Mystic Shell
Club?

Paul et al.

I don't know when the Connecticut Shell Club started but it was going strong
under the watchful eye of Percy Morris when I joined,
I think in 1945. I don't know if it survives, but Eric Lazo-Wasem probably
does. The meetings were at Yale's Peabody Museum.

Alan
