I just got a copy of Vermeij's "A Natural History of Shells." It's a great
book and I am getting lots of ideas from it. His names for some species
surprise me. My Busycon contrariums become Sinistrofulgur sinistrums and
Malea pomums become Quimalea pomums. Can someone more up on taxonomy weigh
in here and tell me what the story is?
