Dear Wanda, As Tucker would say, do you want it in Bostonian or
Californian.  Either way is correct, but the most common pronunciation I
have heard is the first one.  Good Luck.   Jean Cate's book "It's easy
to say Crepidula" was a good pronunciation guide for the californian
way.  I just use common sense English pronunciation. Betty
