We have been having good luck finding (forgive some of the common names)
Conus delessertii Rectuz, 1843., c. floridanus Gabb, 1868., c. jaspideus
stearnsi Conrad, 1869: Marginella apicina, Menke, 1828: various nerite
species, various littorinas:  star shells, limpets and some assorted top
shells, all found along the beach on both sides of Rickenbacker Causeway
heading for Key Biscayne, near the toll booths and eastward to the
Seaquarium.(South Miami), at minus low tide using the eyes and mesh
scoopers.  There are many areas around there to explore.  Peanut Island
has been a little slow this year for the strombus alatus and s. pugilis
but some of the species of Olivella are showing up. Good luck, Michael
