The Veliger:
gen'us (L genus= race, tribe): a taxon including one to many species of
presumed common phylogenetic origin, separated from related but similar
taxa by a decided gap.
Its a start to understanding, now, Giji's, Harry and the rest of the
knowledgeable people, if one would take a major family that most would be
familiar with like, Murex and apply tribe and genera to it would be most
helpful. Both of you have help me tremendously to direct my thoughts and
understand things where I still would be in the dark. I am asking once
again for help. I chose Murex because anatomically most do not nor have
not, the chance to study, but shell structure (if applies) would help.
Love it,
Harry B.
