Dear Andrew,

I think with those characteristics for Crosseana, you must be on to something. There are two widely disparate internet images for Crosseana when I googled. One of them is in an online reproduction of a New Zealand journal article and has some resemblance. Do you know of any other illustrations for that genus?

The Conradia perclathrata images on http://microseashell.com/seashell/main/default.htm don't have good depth of field but don't appear to have a thickened outer lip. I confess I don't know if the placement of that taxon in Fossaridae is correct.
