Hurricanes have not been too productive in Alabama.  Usually just a lot of
bivalves (which is nice); Arks, Pen Shells etc, but ocasionally we get a
Junonia (Scaphella junonia) or Kiener's Volute (Scaphella dubia fm. kieneri).
We get a better variety of shells after a simple Winter storm with
Southeasterly winds.
