Saturday night, people were strolling to dates and concerts in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Cepaea nemoralis was out in force on the leaves by the sidewalks, taking in the moisture from the remnants of tropical storm Ida.

It seems C. hortensis was out there too: smaller shell of about 15mm with white lip (nemoralis 20mm diameter, brown lip).
