One possible solution to the problem of accidental or poorly
thought-out replies to the list is to add dummy characters in the reply-to
address. If automatic replies were sent to
[log in to unmask], the sender would receive an error
message unless he or she had paid enough attention to delete the
.deletethis
This has worked on one list I am on. Any thoughts on whether we should try
it here?
Some additional conchological content: Regarding Malea, there are
additional fossil species, in addition to the extant ones previously
listed. In the lower Pliocene, they were widespread in the western
Atlantic, reaching as far north as South Carolina.
