Hello Harrie, I still find that a soaking in Denatured alcohol works great
to rid thy acquisitions of a malodorous state . Also works with getting that
nasty perfume smell out of a favorite toilet water bottle. Denatured alcohol
can be purchased by the pint or quart and a reputable paints supplier.
