GOOOOD morning to all Conch-Lers,
To all those who love shells on telephonic cards, there is a new Brazilian
series, issued by the telecommunications company of the state of Amazonas.
It is a series of 7 cards that can be seen in the following URL:
http://colecionismo.com.br/cartoes/novidades/Telemar-am/index.htm
Unfortunately (for you) it is in Portuguese. The pictures are beautiful and
were given to the company by the Coltros brothers (Femorale)
These are the shells shown in the card:
Corona perversa regalis (Hupé, 1857) - land shell
Voluta ebraea (Linné, 1758)
Argopecten noronhensis (E.A. Smith, 1885)
Conus worki (Petuch, 1998)
Cymatium femorale (Linné, 1758)
Polystira coltrorum (Petuch, 1993)
Auris bilabiata (Broderip & Sowerby, 1829) - land shell
BTW, the Coltros are now with an Internet page (http://www.femorale.com.br/)
where they promise to show articles about Brazilian shells and also
Brazilian shell pictures.
All the best,
Eduardo Moreira
Brasilia, Brazil
