Costa Rica - Fall 1999 - A new program through Women's Studies, the
Dept. of Child and Family Development and the School of Social work.
-Credits in any of above departments and in Spanish (12-15 hours)
-Minimum - two year high school Spanish or equivalent
-Includes classes in English, accelerated elementary Spanish,
independent project possibilities
-Overnight trips to rain forest, active volcano, and cloud forest parks
-Day trips to national parks; coffee plantations; women's, children's
and family centers; and cooperatives

Australia - Graduate Study
The Australian Education Office has information about scholarships for
graduate study at 38 Australian Universities. Please visit their web

The United Kingdom - Graduate Study
Scholarships for graduate and postgraduate study in various U.K.
universities were announced in the newest issue of current jobs
international. Information is available in the scholarships notebook in
the study abroad library - 209 Barrow Hall, filed alphabetically under
"United Kingdom, graduate study".
Undergraduate Scholarships
A reminder that the Regent's, IIE and UNO-Innsbruck scholarship
applications for summer 99 and academic year 1999-2000 are all available
from our office. Their deadlines are all in mid-March, so please make an
appointment with Rebecca Cheney by calling 542-7903 if you still intend
to apply and need the materials. If you only need a Regent's

Overseas Jobs/Internships
We have an announcement for a position in Paris, France for an
administrative assistant for Sarah Lawrence College. It is 2-year
