Dear Franck

these lines from Beautiful Cowries Magazine, #6 Dec.2014 p. 23 can be
relevant to your question:

"Recently, very similar (to mappa rosea) specimens have been collected in
Saint Brandon Reef (Cargados, Carajos), a group of islets northeast o.
Mauritius .... a natural park under the dependence of the Republic of
Mauritius ... and this has preserved the noteworty endemism."

I presume that the reef is stricly protected. .... or easiy piratized for
missing or spare control?

Carlo

Subject: Shelling in Saint Brandon

Hello,
Is it allowed to collect seashells in Saint Brandon and which interesting
species can be found there apart from Lambis violacea, Harpa costata et
Conus timorensis?

Thanks in advance for your answers!
