Hello Peggy,
Well the cities website is confusing , article 5 is vague about "personal use" . If one were to get busted , a half good
lawyer could tear this treaty apart. it's vague to say the least . seems more of a scare tactic then a working law. just my
opinion . good luck, and happy new yer to all. mark

|Strombus gigas is on the CITES 2 list, which I understand means you can
|import it with a license to do so. Without one you're not even supposed to
|have meat or shells with a hole in them.
