Dear Shellers,
A few months ago I wrote asking for info on Helicid land snails. Many thanks
to those who replied. I am now looking for specific journal articles or
published work on the lifecycle of Microxeromagna armillata (M. vestita).
I've searched through my University and all their catalogues and have been
told by many people that there really isn't much info out there, so I
thought I'd ask the people in the know!

I am currently busy collecting/dissecting and sizing this snail to try and
pinpoint its lifecycle in a specific habitat. I've just got access to a
digital camera which can take photos down a microscope and have some great
photos showing the swelling of the albumen gland when the snail becomes
sexually mature ( Well I think its exciting anyway!!!) If anyone would like
to take a look, please email me privately.

Thanks for all your help in advance,

Angela
