Dear Sir;
        Thanks for the useful information on my shell - i am beginning to think
that dealers that just put "Phillipines" for data are more correct than
ones that use the data with the shells!!

Expecting more white in the Great White North;
-Ross.

Dear friend,

        I don't like to play like a lawyer of the devil,(Avocat du
diable).Basilan island is belong to Zamboangga del Sur, close to
Zamboangga city. I know this place and I can say there is no
tangle net in Sulu archipelago, all the fishermen are using the
compressor in trying to find Cymbiola aulica, Angaria sphaerula
etc. I have a doubt on your data concerning your unknown Cyprea, you
say you get also from the same dealer Conus circumcisus, 90% of this
Conidae comes from north of Bohol island, Calituban island, Tubigon
village area by local fisherman with narguilé between 10 and 50 ft.
        Your shell is not unknown to me, sometime ago I have an
oppurtunity to get one from this tiny island of Calituban.
        Maybe your specimen is belong to C.errones and C.ovum. You can
look in Burguess COWRIES of the World, page 247.
        I am totally agree with you, I have a great experience, 95% of
the data from the Philippine dealer are wrong.

        Sincerely, Ici c'est l,étè,
Emmanuel
