Hi, Glenn
Egg cases of the family Tonnidae may look like a fan-shaped seaweed, though
I do not know for the species asked. It is striking to see a large egg case
of reddish color on sandy bottom, swaying in waves just like gorgonians. If
you find any please take a nice picture.
