I have a mystery regarding a collector of freshwater mollusk shells.
I am conducting research on the shells of Alasmidonta heterodon, or the
Dwarf Wedge Mussel. The specimens (shells) that I am examining are
comming from museums in the U.S. 1 collection that I cannot find is named
simply, "Ett. Reed, Enfield Connecticut", or "E.H. Reed". This collection
has a good number of heterodons which I would like to examine. Does
anyone know who this is?

Sincerely,
Maureen S. Bayer
