Enzo, you wrote "And always remember never to collect live material if
the specimens are not to be used for scientific purposes." ok , sure. No
live collecting unless you are a scientist... How about only scientist
with good intentions, or scientists that have proved their work
valuable. I sort of find this idea that amateur collectors should not be
collecting live shells rather pompous. There have been many discoveries
made by the novice. Of course it's the "scientist" who runs the flag up
and takes credit.   ok , that's it, no more live collecting of mollusks,
heck i was thinking about taking up whaling instead.....
