My name is Scott Schubbe. I live in Tampa, Florida, and I am a new member to
CONCH-L. Actually, I subscribed about two weeks ago, and sat down earlier
today and figured I'd better check my E-mail. I guess I should have checked
every day, because I just got done reading about two thousand messages!
Anyway, I grew up in land-locked Illinois, and my parents would take me here
to Florida almost every year on vacation. From about the age of six, I felt
that all of the theme parks were a bore compared to shelling. Dump me on the
beach! I moved here about six years ago, and I have extensively shelled Tampa
Bay and the Gulf waters and flats along mullet key. I Think Conch-L is a great
service, and I have learned a couple things already.
