Is Conus cancellata Hwass, 1792, sometimes sold from Columbia, related to Conus
austini Reh. & Abb.?? Also, is it any coincidence that the cancellatus in Marsh
and Rippengale is by Brugiere, also in 1792, but supposedly found in Japan and
the Philippines?? Something seems confused here: ***Someone** out there in good
old Conchland must have a cone from Columbia in their collection labelled
cancellata Hwass: what is it??

Thanks in anticipation,
Ross.

P.S.: When is the second volume of Rockel and the gang's Coneshells of the World
due to come out?
