I found a specimen , while SCUBA diving, in the Gulf of Mexico in
approximately 80' of water. It was near a shipwreck out of Destin FL.
According to the National Audobon Society Field Guide to North American
Seashells its range is "North Carolina to bothcoasts of Florida."

I hope this helps. These rascals are difficult to find but they are out
there.
Mark
