Does anyone know if the following oliva sp. were
named by their Authors as fossil or recent species ?

Oliva amoena  Röding, 1798 
Oliva anazora  Duclos, 1815
Oliva avellana  Duclos, 1835 (not Lamarck, 1811)     
Oliva carneola  Lamarck, 1811 (not Gmelin, 1791)
Oliva edelona  Duclos, 1844  
Oliva hieroglyphica  Reeve, 1850   
Oliva makawana  Ladd, 1934
Oliva minima  Duclos, 1835 (not Lea, 1833)  
Oliva siamensis   Duclos, 1844
Oliva staminea   Duclos, 1835 (not Conrad, 1832)  
Oliva striata   Swainson, 1829

and...

Does anyone know to what Oliva taitensis Lesson, 1831
is synonym ?

Any help or idea would be very appreciated !!
