Hi again!

My humble efforts at the now permanently named "Websitium operculata" are
drained for today (and tonight, and last night) but much has been added and
the site already has a facelift. :) There are more than a dozen
additional operculum images and you can now see the "host" shell by moving
your mouse cursor over the large image of its operc. Hover your cursor
over the thumbnail to see what the specimen name is in advance.

Please go look! :) http://personal.mia.bellsouth.net/mia/n/a/nansaidh/

Disclaimer: this is not a dealer endorsement! <laughing> However, I'd like
to take this opportunity to publicly thank Paul Monfils for taking what
must have been hours of his time to sort through specimens and find many
shells with "different" or "unsual" operculum for this project of
mine. He is the source of a large percentage of the beautiful specimens
you see on the site. Without his help and the benefit of his knowledge and
experience (and all of you on Conch-L!!!), I'd probably still be trying to
figure out how those darn things go back in the shells
properly. ;) Thanks also to Ross Mayhew for his suggestion on the
direction of study I begin with; I appreciate the ideas, Ross.

Well now I have to rest my weary mouse arm/hand/wrist. More opercula to
be added, never fear. ;) And by the way, I think you're ALL just the
best bunch of folks... and that's enough ego inflation for today!

Best shelling regards to everyone,
Nancy Smith
