Helmut,

I spent all last night looking through the shells that you sent me.
The Czeck land snails are fantastic!!, although it is very
dificult to find the places the data are from (I'm starting to
search maps for Czech place names). What does MT mean, is this the
short form for a country name?
The shells from the adriatic had "c.o." ...I have no idea what this
means.

As far a more from Canada: Placopecten magellanicus is from the east
coast and I still have nothing from that area. I can offer Chlamys
hastata, Chlamys hindsi (rubida) and Hinnites giganteus babies
from the west. I also have many other west coast shells to trade
as well as many micros from Hawaiian shell sand...I could trade
those for Mediterranean micros and more European land snails. Do
you have any trivias...I love those, but don't know if there are any
in your area. Cavolinias and other Pteropods sound great too!

Again, thanks for the great shells.
Cheers,
Peter Egerton
Vancouver, Canada.
