Hi there!
Yer humble Question Man (working his butt off at our Museum) has
come across some types that he doesn't understand----and some that he
does but would rather not.
I imagine a plastotype would be a cast of a holotype. Nu?
A cotype is a shell where no Hollotype has been designated.
        How 'bout a "hypotype"?
We have "Plasto-cotypes"---which you can figure out.
        What's a --lectoparatype?
        What's a plesiotype?
        What's a cheirotype?
        And a neotype?
Of course your brilliant Q-Man knows all, sees all. But for
others----please respond.
Note: all of the above are with fossils.
                    Q-Man
