Hi James,

now is again winter in Austria and Italy. Pomatias elegans are indeed very
tolerant and you
can keep them in earth, leaves and so on. But not before may (in may or
june) I can send you
a lot of living Pomatias elegans as they are very common in the Northern
Italy. I can send you
also common Clausiliidae as Balea or Laciniaria, some Chilostoma which also
should be kept
alive without difficulties. The only thing you need are some calcareous
rocks or stones,
some earth, good food with calcarous supply. This are different species I
can send you at
beginning of summer

better start with a more cold-tolerant Pomatiasidae species. I'm
