Data on Oliva spicata varieties can be found in:  Tursch, B.,
D.Greifeneder and D. Huart, 1998.  Apex 13(1-2:1-61.  A puzzle of highly
multiform species: Oliva fugurator (Roding, 1798) and related American
taxa.
