Hi Bruce!

I  think your identification of the cones in the
Balthasar's paintings is right.
In the larger paint there is another cone that
seem to be Conus capitaneus (the orange one).
You can note as well that the logo of my site
"Cone Shells" is just drawn from the darker
Rembrand's engraving, but reversed.
