You can find a superb series of articles on mollusks and man that cover
diseases as well as poisonings, etc.  These articles were written by Dr
Harry Lee and are found on the Jacksonville Shell Club Web page,
http://www.jaxshells.org/  Once on the opening page click on "Site Map."
Then go to the second page and you will find the three articles listed under
"Mollusks and Man - A Medical Perspective."  Enjoy,
