Hi folks,

For almost 2 months, a picture of an unusual shell has been posted on
seashell-collector.com, with a request for identification. It is not my
shell and it is not my site, but I have been checking back periodically,
just because I am personally so curious about this shell. So far,
no-one has
ventured a guess. So, I have taken the liberty of lifting the picture
and posting it myself, so you Conch-L'ers can easily take a look at it. If
anyone knows what it is, I'll forward your answer to the other site. Thanks.

Paul M.
