Dear all (and especially those with knowledge of SW American shells),

I am looking for the distributions of the following four South West
American Lottiid limpets:

Lottia ceciliana
Scurria parasitica
Scurria variabilis
Scurria viridula

I know that all come from Chile, but is there anywhere else they can be
found? And besides Chile has an awfully long coastline.

There is also a plethora of Lottiid names from that region introduced in
1974 by Ramirez-Bohme. Is there someone out there who can comment on their
likely validity?

regards

Patty
