I think a posting limit of 5 messages per member is quite sensible -
i've been on lists where one or two members takes over the place.  This
merely makes that impossible, and anything that can't be said in 5 posts
in a single day, perhaps is redundant?/    The semi-flame remark was a
little polite reminder that people have feelings and they should not be
reffered to in a disparaging manner when they are not present to reply.
