It's a murex, not a Murex (of course i missed the uppercase in me
previous posting). Murex is a genus; murex is not.

It's just as easy to learn correct taxonomy as incorrect. There are
no alternative usages. P. trialata is in genus Pteropurpura, not
Murex.
