Henry was awarded the William J Clench Award at the Annual Meeting of the
Freshwater Mollusk Conservation Society on 26 March 2003. The meeting was
held in Raleigh, NC. The award is given in recognition of a
"non-professional malacologist" who has made a significant contribution to
the field of freshwater malacology and conservation of freshwater mollusks.

I was inducted as President of the Society at the same meeting.
