I'm looking at my copy of Through the Looking-Glass now.  Neat little
Natives all lined up expectantly.  Lewis Carroll (alias the Reverend
Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, a lecturer in mathematics at Oxford) was
English, so got to be Ostrea edulis!
