Article 1.3 : Exclusions.Excluded from the provisions of the Code are names
proposed
1.3.2. for teratological specimens.......

Cornu copiae was based on a teratological specimen. However, it is not clear
to me whether both the generic name and the specific name are therefore
invalid.
