Since no one has picked this up.  I have seen folks eating raw slugs on TV
(one of those reality shows), but I have also heard that some species can be
poisonous.  So I guess it depends - probably on the diet of the slug.
Frankly, while I have eaten and enjoyed snails many times, I have never had
the slightest urge to try a slug.  Some things are just plain wrong....
