I love this little questionnaire. It is something that a non-professional

What kinds of shells take your breath away?
Almost every Shell has some aspect that fascinates me.

Do you spend more time collecting and caring for shells, or just looking at
them?
Trying to id Shells takes up the most of my time!

Do you display your shells?
I display my Newfou\ndland Shells in my craft studio in Glass jars along the
back wall. It is a great way to start a conversation, and promote
Newfoundland's marine environment..

Do you collect books about shells?
Yes, but do to my remote location, books are hard to come by.

Do you talk much about them to other people, or is it a private activity?
I Talk about shells to anyone who will listen, and I am always asking others
about shells!

Do you appreciate shells for their looks or the way they feel?
Both! Some shells look great some shells feel great, some are great in both
areas.

Is a living mollusk more beautiful, or a cleaned shell?
I love the living best!

Are self-collected specimens more precious, or those that cost a lot of
money?
Self collected are my favourites, but as I do not get out of Newfoundland,
shells sent by friends also have a special place in my heart!
