Hello,

ITIS is the "Integrated Taxonomic Information System" :
http://www.itis.usda.gov/

It's a database created by various American agencies which "includes
documented taxonomic information of flora and fauna from both aquatic
and terrestrial habitat.". I've no idea of it's reliability or it's
exhaustiveness. Has someone around used it ?
