I went to Vietnam in 1994. It is a beautiful, interesting and friendly
country which changes very fast. I went to the northern and central parts
of the country (based in Hanoi, Hue mainly) at a time when ,unfortunately,
I had not started to develop an interest in shells yet.

It seems that Nha Trang is the shell center of Vietnam. It is a pittoresque
sea side resort reachable by plane from which excursions to small islands
to snorkel and collect shells can be arranged. There is also an
oceanographic institute at Cau Da.

Regards

Janine
