Hi Russ,

We'll take it. The AMS archives are here at the ANSP (I'm in charge of them) and we always accept old collections. Whatever we don't need for scientific purposes we pass on to our education department. Ship it over!

Cheers,

PC.

Hi everybody-

I posted a question to the list a while back and got no replies so
I'll try again. The University of Louisiana at Monroe is the current
home to the collection and accompanying paperwork (lots of it!) of
Tom and Darla (Dorla?) Clark. Apparently they owned a shell shop in
Orange Beach, Alabama in the 1950's and 60's and when they closed
business donated the stuff to someone. Over the years it ended up
being donated here. We don't have the means to take care of it
properly, and would like to donate it to someone or somewhere where
it would be taken care of. We have the shells and it seems most of
the paper work. This includes old AMU stuff, shell catalogs,
correspondence with shell dealers, lists, Christmas cards to shell
people, etc. Some of the shells have collecting data with them, some
(like the boxes of single color Donax) do not. We would like to see
it get a proper home.

If you knew of the Clarks, would like the stuff, whatever, please
contact me on or off list. I appreciate everyone's help with this.
